Nancy Hayden,“The Teacher’s Teacher”
Ms. Hayden, certified to teach through rigorous exams by New York State and Dance Educators of America, has taught over 10,000 students in her 45-year career. Many of Ms. Hayden’s students have gone on to open their own studios across the country, from coast to coast, perpetuating the practices, lessons and teaching theories instilled in them by Ms. Hayden to their own students – earning her the title, “The Teacher’s Teacher”.
Nancy began her professional training with dance legends: Gus Giordano, Frank Hatchett, Charles Kelly, Luigi, Gregory Hines, Phil Black, and Karen Herbert. Throughout her own teaching career, Nancy continues to study and stay abreast with advancements and dance trends (while creating many of her own) to provide her students with a dance education that is always current, fresh and up-to-date in an ever-changing art form. Her studio has been named in the Top 50 Nationally by Dance Spirit Magazine.
Her student’s professional credits include numerous Broadway Shows over the years from Cats, Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat, to Gypsy! As well as cast members of off- Broadway musicals. The professional Ballet world is also graced with many of Ms. Hayden’s students including the Joffrey Ballet. Ms. Hayden’s students have worked with artist, including Sia, Taylor Swift, Ariana Grande and Lady Gaga to name a few.
Although Ms. Hayden has had immeasurable successes and accolades in her career her theory and philosophy remains the same: “whether reaching for a professional career or dancing for recreation my goal is always consistent. I want all my students to not only advance in dance arts skills and have fun doing it, but more importantly, gain confidence in themselves, develop a positive self-esteem, learn that successes come from failures and anything is possible if you believe in yourself and consistently work hard towards your goals whatever they may be”.

Haley Ro
Haley Ro began her dance training at the age of 2 at NDF. She continues to train with the finest teachers in the world today. Haley has had the honor of taking classes with Brian Friedman, Mia Michaels, Laurieann Gibson, Whitney Carson, Megz Alfonso, ASdam Gerecki, Marlena Wolfe, Travis Breen and many more. Haley has performed across the country. Her performance credits include: Disneyland, Knott’s Berry Farms, Disneyworld and Wilds Woods convention center to name a few. She can also be seen as a model in Galaxy Costume catalog.
Haley’s students’ competition credits include: Title winners at Dancer’s Inc., Open call, and Royal Dance Competition. Haley’s students consistently win High Score Awards, Special Judges Awards, Scholarships, PowerPak invitations and more! Haley has also won Highest scoring Tap routine at Imagine Dance Challenge and choreography awards at numerous Competitions.
Besides being an exceptional mentor and teacher, Haley instills a love of dance in all her students that will last a lifetime.

Over 10 Years In The Dancing School
The dance studio has not only taught our daughter how to communicate through movement but how to fall in love with ballet and all types of dancing. The building is gorgeous, the instructors are wonderful role models, Miss Nancy (the owner) is professional and always communicating well with parents--plus she puts on phenomenal performances for the kids every semester! Overall, it's been an amazing experience!

6. NDF has quickly become a second home for my kid. Not only she has built a strong relationship with the teachers, but I also feel safe sending her to the studio. Spending time at NDF allows me to step away from my 9-6 job and enjoy my little ones' creativity.
